Princess Academy Circles
Why Princess Academy Circles?
We created Princess Academy Circles as a small group structure to facilitate mothers in passing the lost arts to their daughters. The smallest Princess Academy Circle is a mother and her daughter(s). Larger groups consist of two or more mothers and their daughters. This is a fun environment and also builds a supportive community for mothers and daughters to grow and thrive in.
Princess Academy Circles are groups of young ladies and their mothers, dedicated to promoting:
Beautiful Girlhood
Equipping, through
Love and Learning (knowledge and skills)
Ladies of
Eloquence, Generosity, Comeliness, Grace, and
Sisterhood.
BELLES: the Latin word Bellus, meaning beauty. Such is the countenance that springs from the soul of a virtuous maiden.
Princess Academy Circles Activities
Liber Tea Luncheons
Are monthly potluck luncheon where classics are discussed, community is built, and participants are inspired by the activities.
- Women of Virtue
Inspiring vignettes about noble women throughout history shared at luncheons.
- Sharing the Journey
This is sharing your Hope Chest Journey with the circle, including Provident Comforts (things made or skills learned) and Adding Value (upcycling, refashioning, or refurbishing).
- Grace Moments
This Program of Refinement Culture, Handwork, and Hospitality is shared at luncheons.
- Liber Tea
Luncheons Discussions
Books are read during the month at home, between mothers and daughters, then discussed at the luncheon.
- Heart Warming
Hands to Serve, Hearts to God, philanthropic activities are shared at luncheons.
Evening of Eloquence
This is a semi-annual/annual Princess Academy Circle Celebration of the Princess within.
